Dr. Elizabeth Owings is board certified in General Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Owings has over 20 years experience in the medical field, with specialty training in a wide variety of procedures.
She offers services such as Laser Liposuction, Laser Vein Therapy, Fractional Laser Resurfacing, Weight Loss, Facial Fillers and Wrinkle Relaxer Injections, and Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Dr. Art Cox III, M.D.
Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Artemus Cox specializes in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Cox is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the Alabama Chapter of American College of Surgeons, the Alabama Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, and Medical Association of Alabama. He is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Cox has extensive training in a wide variety of cosmetic procedures in the medical field such as Botox, Dermal Fillers, Face Lifts, Neck Lifts, Rhinoplasty, Reconstructive Surgery, as well as many other cosmetic surgical treatments.

Dr. Tarek Pacha, D.O.
Board Certified Urologic Surgeon
Dr. Tarek Pacha, completed his urologic residency from Michigan State in 2012 after graduating from Midwestern CCOM. Excelling in his urologic academics, he was among the highest scoring residents in the country. In his first year he scored in the 95th percentile on the ALIA in-service exam. The following 3 years he scored in the 98th and 99th percentile, respectively.
He recently passed his written portion of the urologic boards, he also was on the winning urologic jeopardy team during the North Central Section meeting as well as the Michigan Urologic meeting. Dr. Pacha was Chief Urology resident in Robotic Surgery. Prior to that, he finished Medical School as Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University, Chicago campus at top 10% of his class. He is an active member of, Urologic Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Pacha has been author of various publications in Urology and won numerous 1st and 2nd place awards and Honorable mention from those and other associations. Dr. Pacha has hospital privileges with Coosa Valley Medical Center, Baptist Citizens Hospital and Russell Hospital in Alex City.

Kimberly Pickett, PA-C
Kimberly Pickett is a nationally certified physician assistant that has extensive experience in hormone replacement therapy, cosmetic dermatology and urgent care. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama and then earned her Master of Science at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Pickett is a member of the Alabama Society of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.

Annette Henderson, R.N.
Annette graduated with honors from the Capstone School of Nursing at the University of Alabama. Upon graduation, she was voted on by her peers to be their class representative and speaker at commencement. As a registered nurse, she brings with her 26 years of experience to Azia. She has spent most of her career in medical/surgical nursing and post anesthesia care nursing. While working in Women’s at Brookwood Hospital, she was nominated for Nurse of the Year. At Azia, she assists with patient evaluations, facial injections, and in-office surgical procedures.

Dee Yadyasar, Co-Owner
Dee brings 20 years of experience in professional make up, permanent cosmetics and medical aesthetics to Azia Medical Spa. She began her career in the industry working in the corporate sector with high end cosmetic companies. Traveling the world from Iran, to Dubai, to France, to all over the continental United States, she has gained much experience and has attended many schools in various fields of the medical spa industry.
Dee received her certification in permanent cosmetics from International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics and she received her certification in Aesthetics. Dee also earned her Master Esthetician license from the Alabama Board of Cosmetology and has been performing permanent cosmetics and medical cosmetic treatments ever since. Dee was in charge of the Medical Spa operation at one of Birmingham’s premier plastic surgery clinics before deciding to open up her own. Dee is extremely committed to providing the very best treatments available, along with top-quality care and client education.

Chanda comes to us with over 10 years’ experience as a dedicated wellness specialist in the medical and weight loss field using hCG protocol, and body contouring with low level lasers. As a professional sales and marketing representative specializing in hormonal health and weight loss, she is devoted to working with clients in achieving their overall health and well-being goals through medical weight loss programs and hormone therapy. Chanda’s proven, professional work ethic in the industry is driven by her dedication to seeing clients achieve their goals while transforming their appearance. She is motivated by clients who are eager to achieve the best results in their appearance and overall well-being, and rewarded by their ultimate gratification through Azia’s surgeons, estheticians and spa staff.
