In 2011 @ the age of 62 I started having diarrhea. Which was strange for me as I have always been on the constipated side all my life. I have been to four very well known best rated physicians/Hospitals in Birmingham from 2011 to 2013. I started out with a colonoscopy. Was told they did not find anything and suggested I see a Proctologist. I went to a well known Specialist, they also did a colonoscopy. They told me I needed hemorrhoid surgery which they performed and also removed polyps. They used staples in the surgery which I was told they would come out on their own. Four months later I was still bleeding and having diarrhea, went to surgery again for removal of staples and found two more polyps which they removed. By this time I could not leave my home because of diarrhea. Accidents in home, bed, automobile and public places with NO WARNING. Was told to take Imodium . I was taking eight Imodium per day to be able to leave my home. And occasionally would still have an accident. After eight months of living on Imodium my diarrhea started getting worse again. Went into the hospital for more test. The nerves in my rectum are no longer working, they are Dead. I was told this was probably caused by childbirth???? I have two children 47 & 42.

Got a second opinion from a major Hospital, same diagnosis.

Got a third opinion from another major Hospital, same diagnosis.

I have had several Colonoscopy’s & Endoscopy. I was checked for Crohn’s, IBS, Celiac disease other diseases which were negative.

MY ONLY OPTION WAS ” THE BAG” this would mean a drastic change in my lifestyle.

A friend told me about an article they had read in the Newspaper and gave it to me.
